Blue Light Rain  

Blue Light Rain is a band born from players who love and appreciate hearing and experiencing live music played by others.  This appreciation inspired individual band members to begin their quest to learn to play the music they love.  Members of this band are fans of the Grateful Dead and all genres of good music (if it sounds good, it is good).  The band plays music that is a genesis for improvisation and diverse song interpretations, extended interplay, and musical jams. Our goal is to have fun.  Blue Light Rain does not play from a rigid setlist, but rather from a catalogue of tunes – choosing songs that may fit the moment and setting.  A sample of musical artists and genres from which Blue Light Rain plays are The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Phish, JJ Cale, reggae, classic party tunes, and always, the Grateful Dead.  Band Members include Andrew “Yogi” Ayers (Keyboards), Will Sugg (Bass), Brad Tirone (Guitar), Barry Way (Drums), and Charlie Woodman (Guitar).
