We think food is a big deal.

The old adage, "You are what you eat" is true, but what we eat is so much more than that.  Our food choices matter.  The foods we all choose, and how those foods are grown and raised affect not only our bodies, but everything around us; the land, the environment, the animals both domestic and wild, the people who raise and grow the food and the communities we all live in.  We need to choose foods that create the change we want to see in our world.  We need to know how that food got on our plates, all the way back to the very beginning.

We believe farming should be a partnership with the land, mother nature, and the animals we share our farm with.

Our mission is to create a farming system in which all parts complement each other and to connect people with food that nourishes the body and soul while being grown and raised in the most humane and sustainable way that we know how.

We feel very fortunate to live and farm in lovely Monroe Maine, a small town in midcoast Maine with a vibrant farming community.  The farm's 500+ acres are a mix of woodlands, wetlands, hills, pastures, and the shoreline of Toddy Pond. We share the farm with our cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, ducks, barn cats, farm dogs and an abundance of wildlife.
